The #CountOnKobe counter counts the number of people counting on Kobe. It counts youtube views, hashtags, instagrams, likes, wishes, hopes, fist bumps, internet yelling and any other way fans show they're depending on Kobe to come through in the clutch. And Kobe always comes through, if he feels like it. Featured on Nike Basketball's YouTube channel, the counter is also embeddable on any website, anywhere on the web.
The counter launched when Kobe Bryant live tweeted the rebroadcast of his historic 81 point game. While people tuned in to watch the game, hundreds of thousands tweeted the event along with Kobe and all the action showed up on screen. It was the first live tweet experience of an archival game by a major athlete. #CountonKobe to do what has never been done before.
